What varietie peaches would be late bloomers?. I live in a funny little fold in the land that the late frost seems to settle in .

I live a couple miles down from a big peach orchard, white peaches always come in last around the end of July and early August. Not sure on a specific variety. I prefer the yellow peaches as far as taste goes. There's a yellow variety called "New Havens" that are ripe mid July.

For whites 'Snow King' would be the later bloomer I think. For yellow I think 'Veteran' might fill the bill.

Red Havens and rangers might work. Late is a relative term. We pick peaches into September here. If you are talking just a couple trees, a small fire during a frost warning should keep them safe.

Red Havens is what I meant in my previous comment, not New Havens. They make a big peach.

Red Havens were bred in Minnesota or Michigan, one of those God forsaken yankee states, and has to be a late bloomer to cut in the frozen north.

I grew Red Havens and they are not especially late for blooming. Fruit ripening and blooming are two separate things. For us Red Haven is an early to mid season ripener.

True, Our Red Havens are second to last to bloom last to harvest.

That's surprising to me Tom. Our Red Havens used to start to ripen in mid-July but we still had Suncrest, Improved Elbertas, Veterans and Crest Haven yet to go. Our latest ripeners were Crest Haven and Improved Elbertas. Snow Kings for the Whites.
