Over most of my adult life, I have practiced some form of it including Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do Concepts, MMA, Filipino systems, Tai Chi, and Tang Soo Do. Due to severe Arthritis, I stopped practicing it several years ago.

I used to do some martial arts but unfortunately I never seemed to have the time to dedicate to it that it requires to get good. My son does Karate and it has been very good for him. It's been a real tragedy that he hasn't been able to keep it up with the shutdowns. He's to young to train on his own.

I used to be in Kempo Karate, did some grappling, wrestling, and studied Gung Fu (Bruce Lee's style). I was signed up to start Wu-Tang but I ruined my back shortly after.

I wanted to practice martial arts since I was a child. 2 years ago, I was finally able to sign up for Tae Kwan Do classes and I really enjoyed it. It was a great way to stay in shape and to stay sharp. The instructor was excellent and I was learning quickly and advanced to green stripe over the course of several months. Unfortunately, life, job and finances got in the way and I had to withdraw from classes. I still miss attending and practicing.

I would love to sign my kids up as I believe the discipline would be good for them but we'd be in the neighborhood of $400/month to sign both of them up.

Just happy to be here.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is my first choice, but all of are good to keep in shape. Jiu Jitsu is really good for kids for self esteem. The most important thing is the school, teachers and the students, so you have a wide range of people to work with.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I have a friend who studied all types of it. I said nah I never really found the time for it . I wrestled a bit in Highschool. thats where he stopped me and said , Wrestling is a martial art !

He started breaking down many of the moves in wrestling into Judo and other types of martial arts

so I guess a little Wrestling , but it has been a while

helped a little when my daughter was in USA Wrestling.

you might look into wrestling around here it starts in first grade I think goes through 8th then there is high-school wrestling the cost to join is like 30 dollars if I recall at the local club that meets at the grade school.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
