NM Gov Michelle Lujan Grisham ordered flags to be lowered at half staff for Corona victims in addition to our fallen soldiers.

Actually from Lujan Grisham's standpoint, the slap in the face was to the real fallen heroes, not being honored by her, like homosexuals who died of HIV, women who did not abort babies and the souls of animals who died exploited by Americans, as those are real social justice warriors who should be enshrined. Her forgetting the heroes of the left is the sin here.

Her voting base is Indians and Mexicans, she is going to put them first as dead Veterans do not vote, unless they get help from living democrats.

I don't have a problem with remembering those that died of COVID, but I do with the way she said it. The post should have been all about the fallen soldiers, with a tactful sentence at the end remembering those that died of the disease.

Attention span is regulated by ritalin nowdays. If people concentrate too much on history and the price paid then people my might get all loyal and patriotic to country's foundational principals. So a distraction is a principle of a good magician. They hate the root of old ways and divide and dissolve them any way they can including the respect for those who have given all.

Memorial day is a day set aside for our fallen military. Period. Has nothing to do with any other death. Any other death can be put aside for a different day.
