Ok the local dunhams store has a special every week. I had been wanting a new Taurus G2C 9mm and when they had them for 219 I went to buy one. I have my CC that is up to date. I have clearance for the 2 Military bases here in Ky. But when they called it into NICS it was delayed. I thought no bigge it will come back in a few days. 30 days passed was told I needed to fill out new papers. (duhnams is only one that calls in if you have a updated CC) I filled out more papers , delayed. So I contacted the FBI and was told I needed to file a finger print form. LOL OK That was all done in sept of last year so I said screw it . Got my deposit back went to the local gun store and walked out with it . Should have went there in first place. Why didn't I you ask ? They didn't have any until this morning !!!!!!!!!!!!! cost a little extra but if they are free and you can't get one then price doesn't matter.

My wife has the millennium pro, the first version of the G2C. Nice little pistol. My son and daughter in law both have the G2C, they love them. I prefer to not have a safety on a carry gun, that's the only complaint I have about them

yea I ask the manager about that and he said "dunham's policy is not to follow those guidelines. That's when I said give me my money back

Dunhams is a chain of sporting goods stores maybe not nation wide but midwest

they are about 95% cloths and non gun stuff

they are about as close to Dicks as you can stuff in a store 1/4 the size

corporate policies and not the actually law , they want to limit liability to a failed government list.

Like He said his KY CC lets him walk out of any other store with a gun day of purchase no NICS at all

A long time ago my mom went to buy a .22 for her husband for Christmas. They ran the NICS check. It came back delayed. 5 days later the gun shop owner told her to come get her gun, as he'd not heard from them. She did. About 2 weeks after that, the gun shop owner called her and advised her to hide all the guns, as the ATF/FBI/whoever had called him and said she was denied! He told them she already had the gun. We took all the guns from the house, to my grandparents for a month or so, but no one ever showed up.

I've been wanting a millennium since they came out. My buddies torture tested one like crazy and it still functioned. 1000 rounds with factory grease. Ran it over, tossed it around, mud bath, dirt bath, soaking, pancake syrup then it had a malfunction, rinsed in a bucket of water and it functioned again

awhile back I bought the pt209 not a bad gun at all got the loaded round indicater and a screw to lock it up with a hex key very light and fits my back pocket perfectly

I used to bag on any Taurus at any time any place but never again. This little 7 shot double action with the short barrel (we snub nose in Texas LOL) is a lot of gun for $450! And best of all I sometimes hit something with it! Finally a double action that is balanced, points, and pulls like an old single action. I am in luuuv

I just saw palmetto state has G3's for 260 bucks. Little bigger frame with 17 round capacity. I may have to try one out
