Canada Goose announced they will stop buying coyote furs in 2022. It's possible that they will buy up all the coyotes they can up until then, to cash out. What do y'all think?

2022 is a ways off - about 19 months. Lots can change in that amount of time. Too early to start speculating, in my opinion.

Were the H they gonna get enough recycled fur? I'm hoping the spin offs will prosper. There's more company's making coats than CG that should benefit and expand to other species..

Common sense catches alot of fur..

Depends on how the current issue with trade and covid 19 plays out...with China out there will be no fur market at the end of 2022...... The Coyote's that are moving now are the lower end and eastern Coyote's..... heavy Western are dead in the water now.....with the lower ends going to knock off and China.

Speaking strictly about CG it seems to make no sense to kill the goose that laid the golden egg..... In this case that would be the goose down parka with a coyote ruff.....
Wiss Miss seems skeptical....
Remember NAFA and their vision 2020?
Remember the EU fur ban?
I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what happens with CG.
It's hard to believe that just because Peto doesn't like it that all of a sudden nobody wants a coyote ruff on their parka.

you can vote your way into socialism, but you will have to shoot your way out.

The goose sank with nafa....lots of others making that type coat but there numbers are dwindling fast. China mostly but we will see how that plays out with tariffs and covid 19

I really don't see the reason for a company to stock pile fur to be used 2-3 years down the road and ratchet up their own prices. Coyotes will be available in decent quantities for a few years as it takes some time for falling prices to curtail harvests. Probably not selling huge quantities of expensive parkas right now either.

CG created a trend with the ruff. Knock offs took advantage and followed. No trend-- no knock offs!

PR is all about this Game Changer with CG.
No Show Stores Open is tough on business.

at least they CG stepped up to the plate and put out a ton of needed gear for Personal Protective Equipment when Canada needed it during this pandemic.

good to hear that and they done a lot for the coyote market as well...,however they decided not to sell coyote parkas long before the out break.....fashion comes and it goes! it was a great run while it lasted.
