What is your local egg price? Down the hill is a poultry enthusiast that has eggs that are 3 different colors for $1/ dozen. The hardware store had local eggs for $2.89/ dozen. Bulk food store had non-local eggs for $2/ dozen. Thanks for your time.

$1.79 for 18. Same price as a gallon of milk right now. Cheap.

Free range eggs are $3.00 per dozen.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

You can keep your dollar a dozen eggs from hens that have been stuffed in a box and shoveled corn, soy, and antibiotics. I charge $3 a dozen for a dozen for the most nutrient dense eggs you can get. Chickens running around a hay field in the sunshine eating whatever want.

Several of my neighbors give me eggs for free as no one wants to leave their quarantine to pick them up.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

My wife has chickens. We get more than we can eat. So we give them away.

Joel Salatin sells his eggs @ a health food store for $5.69/ dozen. He uses chicken tractors that follow his beef cows through the field. He also feeds non GMO grain. I like his eggs but they are priced on the high side, just my 2 cents.

We have 15 hens a laying! Feed ration costs are reasonable and we do let the flock out to forage everyday for 3 hours or so. Egg yolks are orange/yellow and we help out some of our aged vets in our community with free eggs.

We almost always have more than we need and our free range eggs sell for $3 per dozen. In the stores it is really variable as many times eggs are promoted or advertised as loss leaders to bring in customers. As low as 69 cents per dozen to about $1.29 most recently.

Years ago I raised a few chickens but the winters then were to cold for the place we had to raise them.So we never tried again.I notice in my area its a trending thing to have chickens and a garden.Any rate we still have a garden.I have had eggs from very cheap store bought eggs to medium grade cosco eggs.Tried lots of local farm raised eggs which are now $3 a dozen.I was not that pleased with any until this year. I found a local organic free range farm that has the best eggs I have ever had in my 64 years.Just poached some today.Wonderful! At any rate for the best I have ever had it will set me back $5 a dozen.$5 is hard to swallow but the wife says they are the best she has had for baking. There is only two of us now so I think we are stuck!
