Lol...……. thanks for the translation Boco…

Question: does anyone on here pick enough fiddleheads that they need to freeze them? If so what is your process? just throw in bag and freeze or blanch first or something else??

Thanks

I bring my water to a boil, put fiddleheads in, bring back to boil for 2 minutes. Take out and put into ice water to stop cooking process. Spread out on paper towel and pat dry. U can either spread out on cookie sheet and freeze separately before u bag or just throw in a bag and freeze.

They have a taste all there own. Depends what u put in or on them. I find they have a nutty, earthy taste.

LOL. Boco, we love you. (and we missed you). In the States we own the land. As a land owner we do not need to apply for a hunting or trapping permit as long as we are hunting/trapping our property. If we hunt Public Property, all permits must be issued to the hunter/trapper.

Why does the word “tool” come to mind?

I was told Canadians don't own their land. (Called Quenns' Land) The land is a lease for 99 years. If this is not true please advise my Canadian friend.
