Anyone use one or have one . just wanted to know if it works in high weeds. Or if it worked good in General.

it depends on how big your target is, and how dense the weeds. In general a heat signature wont display through items. Just like you wouldn't expect to see people inside of a house, same for dense weeds. Not sure what your intentions are maybe that would help.

Bought one back a year or so ago , they were talked about here on TM, decided to check them out and have liked it . kind of wasn't what i was expecting but still like it , it dos work very well , matter of fact i sneaked right in on top of a big cow pie one night coming out of the woods into the cow field. and have also spied some deer in the fields at dusky dark i didint know were there. the worst thing i have is they will pick up heat from rocks and trees the sun has warmed up. but like i said they really do work . cant change out batteries. have to send it back. got mine at Optics planet. as for your grass question ,just depends on how thick the grass. i can pick out squirrels and owls in trees with mine.
