Very interesting video from the late 1940's profiling the extensive use of dogs as pack animals and drivers of big game for hunting at a Cree Indian winter trapping camp. Filmed in Northwest Canada, a deeper understanding of a bygone era seldom seen or witnessed first hand is worth the watch.

All was interesting, but Nanook of the North was by far the most fascinating. I have heard of this my entire life and had yet to see it. Thank you for posting it on here. I am sure anyone that took the time to watch both parts of it and think of themselves as outdoors, still shook their heads.
