Here’s a pic of a 20” fish, 4.5 pounds that the Fish Commission had in a survey net two years ago. I’m fishing there tomorrow.

It might have come from a pond that the dam broke during a flood. Maybe. There were some pretty decent longnose gar in the deep pools in that creek too. 3-4' long "If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough"

I think I've caught just about every specie the east coast has to offer on them except carp or catty. But, duty called. We had to have the job finished and be gone (back to PA) by this afternoon. I'll be back. Eh...wot?

They were all between 2 pounds one once and 2 pounds 4 1/2 ounces but it is hard to find those that size around here now. !4 inchers like these happen pretty frequently, however. Other "secret"spots on "secret" lakes in MN still yield some 15 inch plus crappies. I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
