Went fishing today with my wife 2 kids and my folks. We wound up with several crappie a few bass and sunfish ans 3 channel cat. The best part of the day was my Thayer catching her first fish!

My wife also caught some fish and claims that today was the first time she had ever caught one but I’m not so sure

Good thinking whitetrash!

Was definitely fun seeing her reactions. One of the channel cats I caught I called her over and she sat on my lap and reeled it in, probably a 6-7 pound fish.

Mike, you will remember that moment forever.
One of my best memories is my daughter at 2 years old--catching her first fish, and that was over 30 plus years ago.
Fantastic picture of your little lady.

Awesome

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Looks like a great time! Never to young to get them started. That smile is worth a 1000 words as they say!
