There was a “protest” scheduled for our small town by someone out of Atlanta for June 9th. One of the comments stated that that small of a town wouldn’t have riot gear so they should be good to go. A local commented while we do have a hospital, it’s on the small side, so some might not get the care they need. The protest was canceled today on FB by organizer. He said now isn’t the best time. Believe it or not his own followers turned on him, lol. A local responded that any peaceful protest was welcome, but the first window that was broken would also be the last...you’re not going to destroy our town and be able to post about it. Choose wisely.

Don’t think they really care, they’ll just write it off. I wasn’t saying it was alright, they just seem to tolerate it to keep from hurting anyone’s feelings. Small town owners don’t have the luxury of watching their business get destroyed or burned to the ground.
