Seen one years ago and didn't know what it was. Told friends and they thought I was nuts until one of them seen it too. Very cool!

That's really cool. We don't have many (if any) piebald deer in Wyoming. Or if we do I have never seen one or heard of one.

Just curious, as I know nothing about whitetails, but it looks like an old deer to my eye and she's got a gland or a wound on her left hind leg that stood out.

Great find and a great photo.

The neighbor saw it a couple of days ago, the time I saw it the lighting was bad...

In general piebalds are a genetic mutant and have many health issues (although really neat to see one)....

Besides their different coat, a Piebald deer would have various issues, such as:

Bowing nose
Overbite
Arching spine
Short legs and lower mandible
Deformities in the organs


I thought she was asking the garden fairy to be normal...
