Look at you Mr. James. Posting about God. Wonderful.
My grandfather always told me as he peeled an apple, or sliced a tater from his garden, "God makes people in all shades and all colors."
Thanks for the post.

Mark, it's just that I think if there IS a God, he's present in moments like shown in that short film.

Jim That right there is good enough for me. I have been helped by perfect strangers one less time than I have helped a perfect stranger myself. I try to stay one step ahead. I do the 'pay it forward' deal. The stranger I help will likely never get a chance to pay me back, but after they hear me explain the pay it forward deal, I am certain someone else in true need will be helped out by that individual. I don't know if I am doing God's work, but if He thinks that I am, that's OK with me.

Jim James, As a counselor yourself, I suspect He's tugged on your heart strings a time or two, as He alone is the Great I Am, the Great Counselor. There is much mystery in our faith, and I believe that is by design. Faith requires us to believe that which we cannot see, but which is good for us and makes us whole as the created. Maybe that's not altogether a bad concept in any age filled with things we no longer wish to look at. Anyway, it would seem every time humans "prove" something, darn if we don't take credit for it, use it, and pontificate about it, until it's not too pure anymore. Even trappers go back and forth a bit. Again, thanks for that clip that made us smile. Blessings from hot south TX! Mark

Really. That was nothing but a staged flick with paid actors.

Really. That was nothing but a staged flick with paid actors. Yep, and the Bible is nothing more than words written by men. What's your point?
