Trapper Dahlgren OP trapper T Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 14,146 Michigan	have to have a hernia of my navel fix , it herniated after cancer surgery back in 2014 , but I tore it more working on that big maple I cut down , so surgery is June 18 , should only be 4-5 hour's long ,going home same day

I thought that hernia surgeries were a quick one. Maybe that is how long before you can check out? Allan Minear trapper A Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 11,898 MT (Big Sky Country)	I've had that same one fixed as mentioned laughing is tough but then sneezing and coughing can be painful . Walking up and down steps are the same thing be careful and take your time. It'll be 3 weeks this Wednesday is when I had the last hernia repaired when they removed my feeding tube because I wasn't eating during my cancer treatments . Plan of taking it easy for 2 -3 weeks after a fallow up visit with my surgeon he extended my recovery time to 3 weeks which isn't much fun but in the long run it's a cake walk !

Mark June Unregistered M	Roy, Been there and done that and it really helps "after" the healing has occurred. Pray you'll be up and jogging 5K's like never before after the docs get done whittling on ya. Me's thinking - the docs will be talking about you long after you're out of the surgical suite.
