That's a very nice sized, very ugly bass Doug. Its head looks misshapen. Congratulations.

Humdinger!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Lake Hopatcong in northern NJ. I am staying at a customers island vacation home while I work on the neighbors house. The good fishing right outside the door, the lake is literally 20 feet from the front door, is a great perk of the job.

Getting ready to set up staging this morning.

Thanks Keith. Maybe it got whacked in the head by a boat at some point in its life. The boat traffic here in the summer months is almost unbelievable.

Give me a chance walleyed, I just got here! LOL

The walleye spawn is over, it may be too late in the season for me to catch any of those big ones. I do all my fishing off the island here. But I’ll do my best!

Lug,

Make sure you make a few casts in Sparta lake while you're there.

Lunker Largemouths are in there.

Thanks for the tip walleyed. I looked it up, Sparta Lake is only 7 1/2 miles from here. I may have to give that a try.

I love catching big fish, letting them go, and harvesting in the slot.

Nice catches!
