Y'all ever go to set a trap on a bank den and have the beaver come flying out at you? Happened today and scared the living (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) out of me. Tore my dang waders.

I tied a snare off way too high and too long b/c it was supposed to rain a lot. It never did and I didn't change my set up.
When I snagged a beast of a beaver he got a leg thru and denned up so I figured Im a rough and tough cowboy I would just pull him out into open water and we could have it out.
Once he whupped me I went back to the pickup and armed myself. The SOB was planning to drown me

I had a deer jump off a high bank and near landed in my canoe! I heard the thing coming and it launched off the bank a few yards away and splashed in over its head right next to me. Man that could have sunk me to the bottom traps and all

Yup. One time one of the kids was stomping around on a bank den and a beaver shot out,so I set a 330 right where it came out. I went and set up another spot and came back 15 minutes later and he was in the 330 by the hips. Must have been flying back into the den.

More than once I have caught beaver in bodygrips while holding the stabilizers. Had many shoot out of bank dens bumping my legs. Glad they weren't biters!!

Leftlane- Had one in a snare one time that decided he would be better off tangling up under water in some roots along the bank. Rodeo time with him too! Right in plain sight of a busy state road.

I was placing a 330 In a den entrance and had one get caught as I was holding onto the stabilizer. Had another one blow right through a 330 as I was placing It in the run. Scared the crap out of me.

LMBO at the viral videos we could have of myself or Beaver getting in a scrape or two.

Very nearly lassoed one with the 330 I was setting. I tried tossing the set trap as it blew past me. Nothing but a swing and a miss.

Set a 330 at a lodge on a tall support...all from a boat out in a small lake. Took one paddle stroke to leave and wham...a big male came out of lodge into the 330...splashed water on me...

Most wet I have ever been was when a 58 pounder blew out of the bank den while I was in front of it, pushing support sticks in the mud for a 330. He crashed into my shin hard enough to spin me around, then he slapped his tail one time and I couldn't have been more wet than if I would have just jumped in head first.
