Trucks are like guns and tools. One does not fit all needs. For general running around I have a Tacoma. For real truck work I drive a Silverado 2500 HD.

Ran the high country the last 2 years with mine it gets you where you need to go It just takes longer pulling the Chevy’s/Fords out along the way. LOL. They are NOT a towing machine by any means the mileage goes south fast pulling a empty trailer even.

My '99 Tacoma has 386K on it; that reminds me I haven't changed the oil for a couple of years, I should think about doing it soon.
And I have a '89 Tacoma whose odometer broke back in 2004, had 233K on it then probably has well over 400K by now, and I haven't changed the oil in that one in over five years.

It makes me wonder how many miles I could get on them if I took care of them.

I have a Dodge with quirks....but its paid off 5 years now. So Good truck

Id like a New Truck but I dont pick the right Powerball numbers!

The box is too high on most trucks for trapping, Tacoma's are just right.

Yotas rust out way too quick around here. Haven’t had a problem with the ford at all. Had a new dodge... JUNK. Transmission loved to lock itself in park when off the pavement

All depends on what you need a truck to do?

I just bought the wife a 2019 Nissan titan with a Cummings in it. If anything gets too much then i have an 06 dodge 3/4 deisel manual transmission. To haul the big stuff.

I have an 01 ford v10 with 260000 on it that went thu 3 kids rodeoing and showing livestock. But it gets 12 miles per gallon and the dodge 20.

Chevy 2500 hd here it’s been a good truck so far, if I would have known I would be pulling a trailer as much as I am now I probably would have bought a duramax or gotten a gasser with the 8.1. My 6.0 does fine but it can’t touch the 8.1’s power

I used to keep 2 pickups, a diesel for pulling trailers and a gas burner for insurance claims. The Tacoma's bigger brother with the 5.7L does me a good job handling both.

I haven't seen anything my Ford F-350 can't pull.

You guys must not use much salt in your roads. My '99 ford and everyone like it around here has rusted out rockers.

Thought my 2008 Chevy rode nice. But in 163,00 miles the lifters failed twice. The second time it was traded in for for a Toyota tundra.
