Well, I'll be at the Iowa convention so you'd miss seeing me, so...it'd be a bummer for you anyway. Congrats on the granddaughter getting married To make this completely about me; was the new book going to be ready for the WI show? Thanks Boss,

You could make the first day of Ohio's Convention and still get home for the 12th. Or....you could have them move the WI show and wedding to Iowa and we could talk Kendall Obermier into playing at the reception? Just a thought......

I just found out tonight that my granddaughter is getting married on September 12. I was basically told in no uncertain terms that I had to be there - CRAP!!!
I was really looking forward to going. Missed WI last year because of an impending hurricane, and now this.
Okay, I'm done whining - I can't stand whiners - lol. You'll be wishing for a hurricane if you don't show up You got that right. My eldest son got married on a weekend when I was supposed to go to a Virginia convention. I told Rhonda that he didn't need me to get married. I attended the wedding with bandages about my head and shoulders from the frying pan.
