So I'm a little confused this year. Do they have to stay at least 100 days to get the million and be the last one or does everyone standing in 100 days get a million?

The way I understood it they had to do the hundred. So potentially 10. Winners. But one is already gone, he lost his fire steel. That is one tool along with the knife ax and bow that I would pay close attention to its whereabouts.
One of the others didn’t bring a bow, cause he doesn’t hunt. Pretty good with a rock at least once though.
My hats off to them all for the grit to even try, though I’m pretty sure some of them don’t really understand the severity of the challenges they face.

Yup, I just watched it. I haven't watched the past few seasons. I got a kick out of the lady who blew a snot out of her nose one minute and cried over a bunny the next. She seems like she has a good chance though. She can build a nest like a wren. If I was the guy from TN I would have at least stuck it out a couple days, looked for that steel and if nothing else, at least tried with a bow and drill. Then again, before I went on that show I would make darn sure I was an expert in fire making with various methods.

Yup, if I had to put money on it right now, I would give him the odds. He seems tough as nails and being from Alaska and a guide, he has a huge advantage.

Roland is a buddy of mine. If you saw the little interview thing kinda toward the end of the episode he was sitting in my living room in front of my brown bear mount. We also hung up a 4 1/2 Newhouse for the shoot. He is the real deal for sure,tough as nails. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I looked up how to sign up last year. I'm convinced I would make it 60days before I might start wasting away. Wife is/was on board with it too. My biggest hurdle is the filming. I just dont care for a camera. To the point that in order to audition you have to send in a tape and I couldnt even get it together. I mean I could set it and film me doing something, bit I just dont have the drama. I'm just like this is what I'm gonna do watch it'll take a while...lol. oh look it worked. Repeat

I have talked to several persons who have gone through the Psychological testing and they told me they look for a certain percentage that will fail. You need to have some drama to keep the public interested.
Pretty soon they will all start missing their loved ones and tap out.
When this first started I was called by the producer and they asked If I was interested. I told them I was 70 years old and just couldn't cut it.
It would be a lot easier If they didn't have t do all their own filming. If In fact they do.
