An axe is the right hand tool to cut wood. It is not the right tool to split wood. A maul is a good hand tool to split wood. If that is what you are looking for check out Fiskars. they have a couple that work well, depending on your needs.

Colins axe makes a maul that is like the Fiscars but costs less. As far as axes go, either council tools or Marbels.
Let's go Brandon

Fiskars x27. Won't break the bank or the back. Best bang for the buck, hands down. Fiskars make good axes as far as I can tell, we have one, not sure the model #, but it's a solid axe.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I called Fisker and they had me E mail 2 pics, one of broken handle and one of handle sawed off at the head. Within a week I had a coupon for a free replacement, with no receipt at all. Fiskers should have been my choice 30 years ago. Along with a "pickaroon"
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!
