If they want a real challenge... send them to Minnesota... drop them down in the middle of the kayos and see if they can get out alive.... don't give them any tools or weapons . they can steal what they need like everyone else.

Well we have yet to see the other 6 contestants.
They have to make It 100 days but I'm betting the ones making It will still have to out last each other to get the Million.

Back at the first show Robert Waddell had gone through all the tests and was scheduled to go but dropped out due to the lack of money for the winner. Back then It was so many days and If 5 of the contestants made the grade they split the money. I think the grand prize was $250,000.00 Robert In my opinion would made the grade and probably kill some coyotes by hand. LOL

Pretty sure a Girl from Canada is tougher than most if not all those American men.

It's Sunday, shouldn't you be shoveling the snow from the front porch, thinking about your weekly bath and smoking moose dung by now? They should start a new show just for you Boco… Call it..... "Alone.... Not by choice".

Robert opted out because the daily stipend wasn’t enough for him. The prize was $500,000. I was in the running for the first season but was not selected to be one of the top twenty for boot camp.

Hmm, in actuality, Robert asked for a high stipend and was not contacted again by the producers.

I would be designing and building my shelter before the copter was out of site. Seems like they all use tarps and moss and pine branches for making a shelter then burn a fire inside. A disaster waiting to happen as stuff dries out. I wonder why some don't construct a fireplace type heater (with a chimney just tall enough to catch a draft) in their shelter. There looks to be plenty rocks and you could use mud ( camp is always around water) as mortar. Then build a small well insulated hut. I know in other shows people got thin..... but it takes a lot of calories to stay warm. A good hut with lots of wood piled nearby would be a huge plus in one's effort to survive.

Agree shelter is right behind water sometimes before. Subzero will kill ya quick right now and in a hurry. I was in a different part of the Arctic but sixty below has to be experienced to be believed.
X2 on the rabbits and squirrels not being enough, need a lot more fat.

There is enough fat on a rabbit, but not in the meat.
You have to eat it all-skin guts brain eyes.

I'm pretty sure that only one will win the $1 mil, and then only if they have stayed 100 days. If more than one stays over 100 days, then they have to stay until there is only one left.

I think a show that puts past winners against each other would be great. The young guy from Nebraska will give them fits tho. I'm not sure he has all the skills of some of the others like Jordan but he will come in heavy and can basically fast for months.

The problem with eating rabbits Is after 40 days your going to run out of rabbits.
I would have 40 set lines out as long as I had open water.

A smart person would work on putting up as much dry meat and fish as possible early on when there is more daylight to work.
Some areas of the north have phenomenal densitys of snowshoe hares during peak cycles.
4,400 per sq mile have been recorded.

40 set lines? LOL, 20 of them with gorges, they are only allowed 20 hooks. And a limited amount of line. Has to mono also, no braided fishing line allowed.

Well then I would have 20 hooks set out. You aren't going to make It on just rabbits and tree rats.
