Get a cat and take her to the vet. Yea, yea, most on here hate cats. I like them though. Puddy is getting old, needed a tooth taken out and had a tumor that needed removed and looked at. She is not a happy kitty tonight.

She has been with the wife and I before we were married. She is like our child and hasn't really been a burden. So I guess we owe it to the old girl.

I wasn't too crazy about the idea when my wife and daughter called me from the shelter while I was at deer camp and asked if they could get a cat, but I wasn't about to tell my 4 yo daughter no, so they brought him home. He took a little while to warm up to me, but since I worked from home at the time, it wasn't long before I was his favorite. Now he doesn't hesitate to jump up on my chest and curl up and go to sleep. I don't hate it.

Could get a couple two three guns for $800 though...

I had a buddy who for his kids sake took their cat to the vet. The cat had eaten some plastic twine and it was coming out both ends . It cost him $ 2100.00 bucks . The best part was it ran away three days later never to be seen again.......lol

My first thought was an Alpha Romeo. But I hear you on the vet bills. I have two bird dogs. Cats aren't so bad. My girl has a couple and they're pretty cool.

I have a good story about this kitty but it's to long and involved to type tonight. Maybe I'll tell in tomorrow.

Yup, I'm just hoping her tumor isn't malignant. It was small (about .250" across if that) and she hasn't been acting sick at all. It was on her neck which worried the vet. She is around 12yo so she is getting up there. It will be hard to bury this one.

I had a shop cat, to keep the mice down. One day, she needed some medicine, because she got into a fight. As I was buying the medicine at the feed store, a guy behind me, herd why I was buying it, and told me a .22 bullet would be cheaper. I just looked at him.

Im a fan of Farm cats ... and they sleep in the pole barn or sheds. Well fed.

I have a favorite (Jr) that spends the winter in my fur shed he is pretty smart you call him and he's right there!

A cat is ok, 30 of them is not...

And....never spend more on a free cat then you paid for it....
