If you have a BLACK lab your going to have to call It a colored lab or other wise your going to be called racist.
I thought we weren't supposed to call them coloreds anymore?
True story: A couple of years ago, I was on a post on facebook and people kept saying POC. I asked what POC stood for and was told people of color. This surprised me at the time and I commented something like, "Really? I thought colored people was a racist term, now y'all are using it again?" Oh boy! If they could have got at me to lynch me I wouldn't be talking to y'all right now. I learned real quick that:
Colored people is one of the most racist things you can say to a black person. People of color is what they prefer to be called.
Umm.... ok?

"The term “colored” was also never used as an insult in its historical era but is now considered to be offensive by most Black people. The signs on the bathroom doors during segregation read “White” and “Colored.” “Colored” was the polite term used by segregationist Whites and is associated with segregation. There are many instances of Black teachers or students complaining about having to explain to White students why they should never use “colored people” in class, and most Black people will assume that any non-Black person who says “colored people” (or “colored lady” or “colored man” etc.) is at best very ignorant and probably racist. The last time I personally heard someone use “colored lady” was in the 1980s when a young White woman, who found out that I was a sociology professor, said: “I started a sociology class once, but first they deported by instructor and then they brought this colored lady in to teach the class, so I just left.” That “colored lady” was Cora Marrett, a distinguished sociologist who, at the time, was the Associate Chair of the sociology department and had won a campus-level teaching award. But this young woman never knew that; she saw a Black face and was out of there. She used the word “colored.”
Some of my students have told me that their [White] teachers have told them not to say “black” and instead to say “colored.” Oh dear.
Nevertheless, “colored” was often used in a folksy friendly or casual way by Black people to refer to themselves, and I have often heard Black people my age or older use the term colored in that folksy way. The National Association for the Advance of Colored People was founded in 1909 and still has that name."
There is an expert on this subject at UW.

I see SO many successful people of color that have become rich because of the work the have done and the support they get from white people, I just don’t buy the whole ongoing complaining from some just not making the effort. You see that a lot in all races, the blame comes from a lack of effort but doing anything about it is work.

When have you heard of other racises burn down their own homes and neighbor hoods ?
You're seeing right now up to an extent. Most of these "rioters" are young white people. Yes there are people being bussed in, but a lot of those white kids are from the very cities they're burning.

Q : Why are black people upset ? A : Because it's an election year and the msm / democrats ( same thing ) SAY they are . Happens every 4 years , It's even worse this time because Trump supports the police and Biden is an idiot that doesn't have a good track record on treatment of blacks as their other choice .

The video has a lot of credence to it, I can understand but don't condone the violence. I am certain if I was in the same position of a minority, I would most likely be angry and in a different state of mind. According to research and DNA we all have the DNA of the same ancestral mother. Given that, we were all were once all the same color. Through evolution that changed and is changing again if humans on the planet live long enough we again will all be one color. I doubt that will happen given the state of the world, but if it does things will change but I doubt the politics will and there will be continued chaos in the world.

Man at the racism I’ve seen. We were 17 and we walking back to our truck along a blacktop road when this black lady pulled up and offered us a ride. We informed her our truck was just right up the road and we would walk. Well she asked if we had been successful that morning and we replied, No ma’am. She then told us that’s because we were hunting instead of in church, lol. She said she was on the way and we could follow her then come over after church to eat. We figured what the heck, she was probably right and lunch didn’t sound too bad either. Believe it or not, not one person paid any attention to our “color” or the fact we were in camo. I remember it being a really good sermon despite the warmth. We even got into to singing and those folks had some long hymns. After church we followed that lady to her house where all her children and grandchildren were and had a lunch fit for Kings! Good ole heart attack food!! We even showed some of her grandkids how to shoot a bow and some of her Sons went home and brought back some of the racks off the deer they had killed. That old lady would leave a note on our trucks whenever she would see them telling us she was praying for us and we had an open invitation to lunch anytime. This was around Coleman Ga in the mid 80’s. I worked with blacks up until the military and then served with some extremely smart black men. Even brought a few home that wanted to see what “the racist South” was all about. Everyone said they’d move down here in a heartbeat. Well, all except one, lol. He said he ain’t never seen that many sorry black folks in his entire life and his “grandpappy” didn’t have enough rope for them. He was from OK and believed if you didn’t work, then you didn’t eat. I carried him to the “projects” to see his oppressed people and he almost got us killed calling them every name in the book, including some we as white folks aren’t supposed to say. Racism isn’t about race...it’s more of a lifestyle. Guess the “N” how he used it is equivalent to the White Trash we call our own race. I believe “prejudice” is a more accurate word to use. Down here it’s mainly those that work opposed to those that rely on the Government to provide for them. Why work when my tax money will clothe, house, and feed you? If they want to call themselves oppressed and the “white man” is keeping them down then they’ll be “racism” forever. What’s ironic is even the black owned businesses in that part of town that are owned by black men/women have bars over their windows and alarms with security cameras. You’d think if “black lives” mattered them they wouldn’t need that. But, they’ll be the first to tell you they don’t trust their own race. They even said they’d rather hire a white boy than a black because they wouldn’t steal from them like the blacks do. So, y’all keep that racism up North and leave the South out of it. We seem to be doing just fine down here in rural America.

Sounds kind of ridiculous when you put it that way.
I sure can't explain that behavior. But I don't believe it's due to some racial defect.
Jim
ISure its not. How about a neighbor hood burned by Asins, another one by Hispanics, yea dont forget the White neighbor hood that burned .Never seen that in the head lines. SO WHAT DOES THAT LEAVE YOU ?

Their is racism but it goes both ways and the black kind is not talked about. Example black only college, black tv network, black only beauty shows, black only singing awards shows, black only game shows[ college bowl] and the list goes on. Try switching the names of any of this to white only and see what happens. It would blow up all over the news. This is in no way a racist post just facts.
