neat find,i often go back and look again in places i was concentrating on coins to now find bigger stuff.dug about everything i thought but aint ever found one of them.

The city took down an old abandoned house and I was in the right place at the right time. Old matchbox cars, pewter soldier, the anvil and a lot of other neat stuff. I used to be a coinshooter looking for that deep silver but that's getting scarce.

Saweet find! I have a tiny anvil that is used for what I think is called repousse work. I got it when I was doing custom auto sheet metal. It worked great for trim restoration.

Gwc I’d say you’re probably correct. I know some jewelry makers use them for relief/embossing like repousse which is a technic more prevalent in silver work like bowls or plates that have been embossed.
