I’m looking to add a new bait this fall, season opens mid November, usually wet, mild temps, etc.

Are either of these baits “mild” enough for fall coyotes?

Keg Creek - Nelson Bait
Apple Road- Bobcat Bait

I don't think you could go wrong with either of those. I've used both Marty and Cletis's baits from day one in our season with success in the past. I paid a little more and had Cletis spike his bait (Apple Road) with extra glands with great results. I am really partial to John Graham's Cat Creek but I have been trying to cycle it in and out.

Wade- are you using cat creek later in the season, as it’s a little louder?

I've used it from day 1 as well. Interestingly, it smells horrible but for some reason my possum/raccoon catch seems to quiet down a little bit with the Cat Creek. One of the many reasons I really like it. I don't have near the issues with non-targets plugging my sets. I am a pretty firm believer in the fact that any bait with some quality urine will kill coyotes though. I can't say I've really found one that doesn't work.

I can't speak to those, but judging by last season,I can attest that you should use quality stuff. I'm planning on using some Caven's, June's, and something else I can't think of right now. Good luck!
