If this is a breakover style, you'll have get one that will take the shock. I can't recommend one though, just know an el cheapo won't cut it IMO.

I bought a ruger blackhawk (breaker air rifle) a few years ago, couldn't dial the scope in...found out through some research the shock from firing will throw them off. Mine doesn't have recoil, so to speak, but there is quite a vibration when it fires. If yours doesn't do that you may be ok with a decent normal scope. I wouldn't put anything less than a 4x32mm if it were me.

I have a couple magnum. 22 spring piston 1000+FPS they will destroy typical rifle scopes I think I have gone through three cheap ones including one that came with the Walther falcon. The scope on it now is a BSA essential it has survived about 200 shots lol. I just can’t stomach putting a $3-400 leupold on an air rifle used for bait pigeons. After seeing the advertising showing a Leopold mounted on a jackhammer, I think they would probably hold up but still rubs me wrong. If you find a good one that takes the abuse please PM me.

I have a .22 Gamo and it has a Center Point 3-9 on it. That was what it came with and I have never had a problem with it.

You will need a scope rated specifically for springer air rifles. The way they recoil is different than a regular rifle and springer air rifles destroy regular rifle scopes. I cant help with a specific scope because i live where i can just use a 22 or 17hmr.

Look at the bugbuster scopes, airgun rated and hold zero. I have them on magnum springers and still doing well.

Might be more money than you had in mind, but I have Hawke scopes on my air rifles...... http://www.straightshooters.com/airgun-scopes-selection.htmlThe problem with air rifles......the high end springers anyway.....is the two way recoil. That will tear up a scope not made to allow for it. I had as much problem with mounting a base and rings as tearing up scopes. With a two piece base clamped by friction, the rings would move. I eventually went to a one piece base and that solved my problems. Always thought air rifle base, rings and scopes would benefit from some type of grooves that would register together, lock up solid and not permit any movement at all.
