I heard this term used today, and I must admit, I didn't know what it meant. With some quick research, I found out that WHITEY has been preventing POS (oops, I mean POC) from voting. I have prided myself with thinking that I didn't have a racist bone in my body, until recently, I have come to realize that I don't have a bone in my body to the contrary! So, what is next?

I'm getting sick of this shhh! Laziness is not a good excuse for not voting! I've been trying to be neutral until now. If this "movement" is based on anything other than being lazy I'll kiss your A. IF anything, this B.S.has divided America more than it hasn't...screw it!

People develop feelings and opinions based on experience. If their experiences with folks of another race are positive they develop positive feelings about people of that race in general. They naturally expect the best of them. If their experiences are primarily negative, they develop negative feelings and tend to expect the worst. Neither is actually accurate regarding an individual of either race. We cannot control our feelings, but we can control our actions and should treat each person, regardless of race and previous experience, as an individual.

Two things;

First, you absolutely can control your feelings. That's the problem these days. To many running around controlled by their "feelings" and emotions not their brains!

Secondly, opinions are just as often driven by those who raised and taught you early in life or those you choose to influence you later in life. As the IT guys say "garbage in, garbage out". The first a child may not be able to choose the second is totally a choice.

About twelve years ago i felt very little animosity towards black people . Prior to that i worked around several fine folks that were black . They showed up every day on time did their job . Im not around black people much anymore and most of my experiences are from news . I feel much more animosity than i used to .

The Air Force sent me to a “race relations” class back in 74. That is when I discovered I was born guilty and needed to spend my life making amends . I didnt buy it then either.

There's good and bad people of all races and nationalities - probably in about equal proportions - even the ones that live in the city. Don't lump any of them all together.

What you see on the news is not what real people are like. The minorities I know at work and that I know personally are all good, hardworking people who just want to be free to live their lives and do the best they can for themselves - Mexican, black, Vietnamese - doesn't make any difference. The minorities you see out an about on the streets are mostly polite, kind, and respectful to all people as long as you treat them with equal respect. Heck, even most of the homos I've known are nice people who just want to be left alone to live their lives in peace.

The nonsense you see on TV is only a relatively few freaks who the media can exploit to sell advertising. Sure, there's some real losers out there. But don't buy into the hype the media is selling and think that's what most of America really is.

What from Christ that soul can sever,
Bound by everlasting bands?
None shall take thee
From the Strength of Israel's hands.

You are hanging out with people who work. Try hanging out with those who don’t

The term voter suppression is used today to cover for why can’t we cheat from the same people that used it in the past to suppress the Black vote it’s not the Blacks but the Democrats doing it still.

Just when you think you have hate for a guy you've never met before, based on the color of his skin, the way he's dressed, and the type of car he drives, he turns out to be the guy who pulled over to take you to the gas station because you weren't watching your gas gauge and ran out of gas out in the middle of nowhere.
He's also the guy who refuses to take money or let you fill his gas tank even though his car is right there while you fill your gas can.
This happened to me last year. While he was driving me back and forth, we were talking about how nice it is to know that there are still good people around theses days. We talked about 'paying it forward'.
That was why he wouldn't take anything for his troubles. The way he figured it, if he had, the next time he needed a hand from a stranger, no one would be there.
It was a big eye opener for me in a way. My policy is to hate people one at a time regardless of anything (you fill in the blank). This episode reinforced my policy to reserve hatred for those who deserve it based on the content of their character. Their actions. Period, end of sentence.

i dont hate anybody for those reasons but i dont wear blinders either.

if i see a skinny white guy with bad teeth talking 90 miles an hour he aint coming in my house and it will be best for him if he leaves right quick when i tell him too

Warrior, please consider again what I wrote. Controlling your actions by using your brains is not being controlled by your feelings. My point is that you may feel one thing but know (in your brain) it is wrong to act on, and so control your actions.
