Not sure about that. I started implementing them on irrigation wells 12 years ago to help out on irrigation cost. Everyone thought I was nuts. Not tooting my horn but they have saved us thousands of dollars a year, but like anything they have there quirks. The do not like lightning. Living where we do that is a constant battle
