Interesting, but no. Blood on as mount is a terrible idea. I do like the frame pack one, that has a story to it. I kinda like that one as well, but there's something about a taxidermist who strives to make the mount look "lifelike" and so a buck on a tailgate or in a pack doesn't really fit the norm. Great taxidermy makes the animals "come alive" so mounts depicting dead animals are a little hard to accept.

The deer eating corn is a competition mount to win in the master's class you almost have to do an open mouth mount. It takes almost as much time on the mouth as at does the rest of the mount. If I remember right it won several awards. I think the deer jumping the rail is cool.

I once saw a big buck mounted and the plaque said it was killed by a 1978 Impala!

Those back pack mounts have gotten popular i have 2 of them this year not a fan. As I look at all those mounts all I see is dollar signs if they want it and don't mind paying the price.
No matter where you go there you are.
