I was looking at the numbers for the U.S. and noticed that the new infection case number has maintained between 20,000 to 30,000 per day since the shut down in March, but the new deaths have fallen from the peak in April of about 1500 a day average to about 500 now that we have reopened somewhat.

Did we get better at treating this? Are we better at preventing high risk groups from getting infected? Seems strange that disease is still going strong, but the daily death rate is dropping by 2/3rds?

The most vulnerable have already succumbed,Now the numbers are reflecting the avg joe death rate.

I think we are doing more testing and that is detecting more young people with the virus that are a systemic and not getting sick or are only mildly sick. The older more susceptible folks are being more cautious and staying home.

As much as you tin foil boys want everything to revolve around your hero, there is( I believe) a disease out there that contributes to the death of certain people.

DUDE, its the fricken flu, every year the frickrn flu goes around, some people get it , some don't. some people die, most don't. If you got the time , go hide and come out some time next year, as for me, its fricken business as usuall, CEPT the big companies bending me over.

It only effects me, by the Europeon travel ban done by the President of the U.S. Any day now he can lift it with his magic wand. I'm not holding my breath since somehow the Democrats made him do it and keep it going.

it is the flu about the same as --polio is arthiritis. The corona virus is several times more deadly than our seasonal flu.
That is a fact no matter how you try to sweep it under the rug.
