Brian Mongeau trapper Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 1,121 Killingly, CT	I have 30 Cornish X Rocks coming in Monday or Tuesday. I added six Jersey Giants, so approx 16% of the group will be black. I'll kill the meat birds in 8 weeks, that should make the birds of color happy.

If you let a couple of them grow you wont need a turkey for Thanksgiving or Christmas. They will get huge for you and if they are free range they wont lay down and not be able to get up like some of the pen raised birds will.
