Seems we have black bear from Wisconsin, headed for southern Illinois.

Drawing quite a bit of attention.

How far do bears roam ?

We had one passing through last month also must be a migration going on.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Male bear have allot bigger range and can travel for miles.

There is one on vacation last spotted 3 miles from my house too. The nearest good bear population is about 150 miles north.

It was a medium sized female bear-a nuisance bear that had been trapped a couple times,ear tagged and spray painted.Each time it was relocated farther from the trapsite-the last one being 300 miles
It was back in 5 days.They have an amazing homing instinct and are tireless travellers.
