That's a really good deal. Now you'll have to hunt for volumes 4, 5 and 6.
Eh...wot?

Great bunch of knowledge there!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I love yard sales. Picked up a Coleman 425E stove today, date 10/74 for $2.00. It’s outside running now, been burning for about a hour.

That's more than I would pay. I do like Foxfire books. Look them up on ebay, $10 was a bargain. The whole set is selling in the 150-200 range. Probably the current situation in the world pushing the prices up but not by much.

I'm surprised they cost you $10. Most people around here wouldn't have a clue what those books are and would have maybe had them a a buck a piece or lower at a garage sale.

I think she would have priced them lower, but she said she had wanted to complete the set until she saw how much it would cost to buy the rest.

If she hadnt mentioned that she had seen the prices to finish the set I would have made a lower offer. But I have a feeling she wasnt going to budge and thats the first time I had ever seen them outside of the internet.
