It's going to be a long winter for those of you that continue to watch the media. I'm right up in the thick of it when it appears and it hasn't changed a thing I've done daily yet. I tested negative for the antibodies. Guess I'm doing something right.

Nope, and I'm not living in fear and putting my life on hold. I've been out and about today livin how I choose and not cowering and bowing lol.

Wife got a blood test for antibodies on Thursday. Cost me 100 bucks. So she is the only one getting tested. We had some kind of bug back in February. Going to find out if we had it already.

Either way I am not going to worry about it. Exposure at some point will be 100%. Doesn't seem like there is any way to predict who it will kill and who it wont. Guy on a crew I've been working with came up positive. Not sick at all. His wife doesn't want to get out of bed. Both young both healthy. Its a strange one.

bottom line still is though its not killing like was predicted and numbers have been fudged.

Grandson graduated high school today. Finally got to have a ceremony. Gym was full. A few people wore masks Our gathering after was about 40 people.

I am neither "living in fear", "putting my life on hold", "cowering", or "bowing"...just making the moves I think I ought to to keep my wife and I safe from a disease that has too many unknowns and would be potentially disastrous if either one or both of us catches it.

Just have to avoid it for a couple years til its gone.
I remember it was the same with sars.
Sars is now gone(no longer virulent) same as spanish flu and the other deadly ones.
There will be a new one in another 20 years or so.

While my wife was battling cancer and taking chemo she was at risk of dieing from a hangnail. Under those circumstances, I would be taking every precaution available. I'm just of the mind that the vast majority of healthy folks have little to fear from this thing.

When did I ever say anything that could be construed (truthfully, now) that anyone should lose their "freedoms and liberties"? I support your "freedom to choose" just as I would expect others to respect mine.

Exactly, quarantine the sick and let the rest of us be for the love of God! I recall a time as a child I got bad sick, 8 youngins in the house. Mama set me apart and doctered me with poltice on my chest. It was Scarlet Fever and the rest of my siblings kept rockin and rollin. Good grief, this ain't 1918.

Ive been waiting to get on “the good” med for the MS i found out about a few months ago. The one im on now comes with a higher risk of deadly brain infection with every infusion, Not how i want to go. The good med kills the part of the immune system that specifically fights pneumonia, so the doc wanted me to hold off as this was in the early stages of covid and not much was known. People already on the med like it so much they decided to take the risk with covid and stay on it. Talked to the neurologist a couple weeks ago. Theyve documented 100 people with MS, on this drug that kills the immune system. 20 hospitalized, 5 went to icu. Zero dead. This is without a functioning immune system against pneumonia. So to a actually believe the media/government that 120,000 have died from covid alone, youre wrong. I do believe 120,000 people that tested positive for covid died though. Big difference.
