I was thinking that a lot of the thousands of pairs stolen or destroyed...........some were undoubtedly covered by insurance. So the store owner gets at least partially compensated.

Remember that NIKE was already paid for them when the wholesaler bought them.

So now the retailer needs to reorder inventory if he plans to reopen.

They will be fine. They can just increase their workers hours and cut back on the rice.
