Yeah, Tom, it's 36 for me but been with her for 44. Holing up here with such a good woman who happens to be my best friend kinda makes a guy think it's worth protecting. Going to keep it up no matter what anybody says. Somehow that does not make me weak, a "sheep" or anything but a good husband and friend to a woman who has put up with and given me so much for all these years.

Tom and Moose. No one is calling you anything. If it makes you feel better to wear a mask go about it. Just don't ask the rest of the world to follow your decisions. Reminds me when the gyms first opened up back here. Had an elderly gentleman come and shake a bottle in my face with a rag about 6 inches from my face and tell me I needed to wipe down the machine I just used. I informed him I'd planned on returning to that machine shortly and if he was concerned he could wipe it down in between. I also explained that Covid is passed by droplet particles and getting within 6 inches of my face if I did indeed have Covid had likely just infected him much faster than that machine ever would....crickets....everyone wants to be mad about something. I just prefer to live.

I don't think Tom and I have ever asked anyone here to follow our decisions.

Not specifically you two. More of a generalization of this crazy shutdown of the country. Covid just is not what the powers that be would like you to believe it is.

Lots of people doing what Tom and I believe is best, and lots of people doing what you and others feel is best. Sounds just fine to me and not a reason to criticize anyone.

Nothing has changed in our lives around these parts since this all began. I haven't worn a mask yet and don't own one except for doing hazmat work in an attic or working with harsh chemicals in our facility.

I go to the store a couple times a week no mask no worries and don't even think about it much any more. I see folks wearing masks driving in their cars alone, really..... Those of high risk and those that feel it makes them more secure or protected that is fine for those folks.

I rarely watch the news anymore or listen to all the hype and agenda pushing media. You just cant believe so much of what is being reported as they don't tell all the facts just what works best for their sensational news broadcasts.

Many of these so called disease experts don't know what they are saying it seems. They change their opinions like the daily weather forecasters.

Like stated where are all the flu stats this last few months. How much of this is inflation of data and positive tests don't mean you will get sick in many cases it also shows you have had past exposure to the virus by the present developed anti bodies in your blood.

Go back to your routine and use common sense as before this all started and things will work out.

Recently was in Walmart first time in a year used the restroom me and another fella washed our hands 4 others did not
I've used handsanitizers for decades after shopping or fueling up and i like the idea of ordering and curbside pickup for older or impaired folks that have trouble getting out and about
Now if public restrooms wouldnt have pull doors to get out we'd be all set

I don't care about masks. I pay attention to the governments numbers, because these are what the government uses to justify policy. Over time, I have learned you can waste a lot of time arguing the validity of the governments numbers, or you can use the governments numbers against them. Clearly opening up has not led to a rising death rate by the governments numbers and so keep opening up. The number of infections is not what the government is claiming they are trying to prevent. The claim is they are trying to save lives by not overwhelming hospitals.

I need things to keep opening up, if hospitals are not being overwhelmed and death rates are stable or declining. Who cares if infection is increasing among low risk people? irrelevant.

Sound logic right there, who knows all about the kung flu? Probably no one......

I don't think we can wish it away. What was the number of new cases in Florida on Saturday? Was it 9600! They are taking a step back. Governor says he opened up too quickly.

Did the Governor mention how overrun the Hospitals were? Did he mention that the daily deaths for the 27th was 24. Did he point out that 24 is a bit lower than the average daily death rate during the shutdown?

I'm with Moosetrot and Tom. I wear an N-95 mask when I have to go to a store. And when I retired I swore I wouldn't ever wear those things again (masks).
