Title says it all. What do y’all use? Sheep’s wool? Qtips? I herd you can use a ball of dry grass.

I have to say It Mini tampons. It's a bit embarrassing to buy them yourself so if you can have your wife or girlfriend get them so much the better. LOL

Guess you weren't the spelling bee champ?

I was wondering where you "sent" the holders.

And...what kind of animals are in that "herd?"

Btw, dried pieces of leg skin from coons, foxes, and bobcats with fur attached works well for scent holders I've heard.

Scent Holders include cat tail Fluff or Q-tips or cotton balls or old hornet/wasps nest comb pieces. And since the first and last are free, use them the most.

Dollar store sponge cut into little cubes, when I use any... usually just a lured butter knife tip smeared down in the hole.

If you are cheap like me,,,,,, 1/4" cotton rope cut to length (2-4") and squirt lure or urine on it. Or soak the cotton in whatever you please as an attractant (bottom of your bait bucket, urine bottle, etc.). If your exposed "fish on a stick" set is not legal, a little white rope soaked in fish oil and loosely tied to the top of the stake will work...........the mike

Black soaker hose, I cut mine 1 1/2 long. If you are using a liquid lure or watery bait put some of your pieces of the hose in a jar with the lure/bait for a couple days, put one in a dirt hole the scent will last a long time. If I am setting a post or flat set I stick a piece of dowel in the hose and stick it in the ground behind the set then just put the lure/bait or urine on it. The hose keeps the scent longer than any thing I've found
