Do you have to lease the bait sites from the landowner?

Thousands of square miles of state, county and federal land. No shortage of places to hunt. And LOTS of bears in the area.

How tough is it to get a lic. for that area? I'd be more than willing and wanting to use to use your guiding services!!

It takes 2-4 points to draw depending on the zone. You get a point each year you apply and do not draw. The application period is in April. It only costs $5 to apply!

4 is currently the minimum in zone 27. I believe it will be 5 from here on.
Better start applying fellas.

That's unbelievable to me Osky, I'm not a bear hunter, but glad i live in no quota area if I decide I want to make the time to do it.

Last year 85% drew 27 with four points, so 15% drew with 3. Points creep has been making it go up. 33% drew 24 with 3 points. Hopefully they will increase the number of permits in the future at least to stop points creep.

For sure if anyone has any interest in bear hunting Minnesota some day, you should be getting points. Only costs $5 to apply!

I love baiting bears, people don't know what they are missing not hunting bears, and yes they taste great.

Just finished looking at your website, nice you could add it to your existing one, and a lot of us get that every week. I think you will be full this fall with a few well places ads, looks like a pro doing what he loves.

my old (now sold) family-owned commercial outfit in Northern Ontario would have been exactly your competition. i operated it for near a decade. Up to 43 customer capacity in 12 cabins, all waterfront. 19 customer boats. *fishing and hunting

Why? Competition has to be mutual. There’s outfitters all over the world and do you think the guys in Africa are worried about a run down camp in Ontario?
