A few weeks ago, my mom gave me a few knives that belonged to my dad. This was one of them. She said that my dad owned this knife for as long as she could remember.
It is an "Imperial" knife. [Linked Image]

I thought it was pretty cool. You don't see much "Hopalong Cassidy" stuff anymore.

How old do you think it is? Can't make out the manufacturer.

Made by Imperial. At least that is what is stamped on the one blade.
As you can see, it's not in great condition but I'm leaving it just the way it is. I may put a little oil on the blades and internals, just to keep it from rusting/locking up.

I remember watching his show with Gabby in the mid 50’s. Ya gotta be old to say that! Congrats.

I had a Hopalong Cassidy lunch box when I was a kid. Packed a lot of lunches to school in it.

Very nice....carry it and use it....you can’t enjoy it in the safe.

My dad always carried those junky Kamp King knives that you pulled off the cardboard poster. They were crappy but still better than the Chinese/imported stuff now. He had 0 appreciation for a good knife.

Good looking knife. It would go well with my Hopalong Cassidy coffee mug. It was with a group of 3 mugs that I bought..Hoppy, Shirley Temple, & Buster Brown.
They take me back along a very happy memory trail.

In better condition, with the attached belt loop, that's a $200.00 knife. It's neat that you got your dad's old knives.
