Not a big poster on here but I would recommend stop using PayPal. I don’t know what happened but they have tanked and cater only to the seller, even if they are known scams. They have no “Protection Program”, no customer service, disputes are denied within hours of filing.
I had an unknown transaction on my account, disputed it, denied within 6 hours with no explanation. Can’t talk to anybody, the only avenue is their forum where you get nowhere. I have even written (USPS) them with nothing. Check it out and see all of the same stuff…..

Actually, I believe Ebay sold them several years ago... The reason I am saying this at the time I had a run in with them. I was buying and selling a lot of things, 100s of dollars a month. We got an email from ebay, that stated they had sold paypal and as of such a date they would have no interest in them other than normal financial supplies for customers. Then when that date got there, everything went crazy with them from a financial standpoint.. I got a monthly statement from them That I owed like $1500 ( I OWED THEM NOTHING). Then I would get a weekly statement from them with hundreds of dollars of late fees and interest. I had kept really good records and I followed up by getting records from my bank to support every thing. Finally after three months, when they would refuse to contact me, other send me a bill, I cancelled my credit cards so they couldn't tap into it. and called Ohio Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs. About the same time I was in this process, I got a letter from some quack attorney, saying PayPay had turned my case over to him I had 30 days to pay (now almost $4,000) the balance or they would be taking me court. I sent all of this over to the Attorney General's Office.

About a week later, I got an email, followed by a letter from the AG, that the matter was settled and I should hear nothing else from them. If they continued in anyway to harass me, they would follow up with a legal action. End of story. So I no longer do business with eBay or PayPal.

At one time you could not buy legal gun items with Paypal like AR parts kits.

Call PayPal's customer service at 1-888-221-1161. They take care of problems quickly in my limited experience.

My experience has been the opposite. I have felt they gave the buyer too much leeway and ripped the sellers. Officially ebay & paypal parted ways. Now its two ugly sisters stuck in a Datsun. I do think their customer service stinks.
Also I purchase gun stuff with paypal all the time. Use the card. Gives me a twisted enjoyment doing so too.

I am sorry that it did not work for you. It most definitely did work for me the 4 times I called them.

I used PayPal all the time years back and dropped them after someone tried to hack our account. Well a few years went by and I decided to get another account with them which I did and I used it the same day I got it and I almost immediately got an email from them that they were suspending my account. Wth, I had just opened it that day. Needless to say I am finished with them for good now

I've never had any problems with them.

We do roughly 3,000 transactions through PayPal every year as sellers. We get a dozen customer disputes and we probably have two go in the customer's favor where we lose money. Most of the disputes, we could have solved much easier than going through the dispute process if the customer had just emailed us. We're very generous with our return/refund policy. We have had a lot of disputes where Pay had sided with the customer but sent us a note that they weren't pulling the money from our account because we did business in good faith so PayPal is covering the refund.

Paypal is frustrating to work with sometimes and I've heard horror stories from others but we probably have 30,000 transactions under our belt and no horror stories.
