In the 90s and humid here today. Spent a couple hours on the tractor running the finishing mower, finished paining the Jon boat, and went through three sets of clothes from being soaked with sweat. Will be this way until early October. I hate summer. It’s even too hot to fish!

103 and 36% humidity here today. I know 36% is nothing but if you’re used to 10% it sucks. I don’t know how you guys do 50+

As a Kansan, I just feel fortunate that it didn't snow today! (Although it would've felt nice)

90 degrees with 96% humidity make me feel alive as much as -25 dergees with 15mph winds...

I can stand alot of heat and humidity, I just can't figure out how you guys trap around them "freakin snakes " down there. No way, not for me

No way, not for me This got me thinking, we learn from a real early age how to watch for snakes and to avoid places they’re likely to hide. My son turns 6 this weekend and we’ve been teaching him this over the summer. Never really thought about it being a learned behavior. Something else that’s weird down here is the ticks. I spent 12 weeks in Virginia last spring, and the folks warned everyone about ticks. If you got one on you they suggested that you go to the medical staff to get on antibiotics! The folks from areas that don’t have them were scared to death! I was like, guys, I literally pull a tick a week off me in the summertime, it’s not a big deal. Of course I missed one a few years ago and got a case of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever as a result, but it all worked out after some meds.
