Both the bison and the bear look pretty young to me. Interesting video for sure !
You might be right. It looks to me like the bear figured out which was the working end of a bison no matter how old / experienced he is. I am sure a few of the slow kids in class learn that lesson the hard way

I have some pictures somewhere of a full grown male grizzly that learned that final, fatal lesson. His sides are full of holes. The Bison was also dead nearby. The magnitude of the destruction in the battle space is impressive

Some where their is a video of a jaguar in So America plucking a gator or what ever sub species they have down there and delivering a fatal bite like it was no big thing. I remember thinking that no matter how strong his natural instincts were, he had probably done that before. He was entirely too efficient
