The Africans that were captured by other Africans, who were not sold as slaves abroad were mostly eaten by the Africans who captured them. The Portugese called the cannibal tribes that sold them slaves and who ate the rest Jaga or Jagas. The African tribes Yaka, Suku, Teke, Luba, Kuba and Hungaan were the main suppliers of African slaves and ate many thousands on non salable Africans. Keith
