My son owns 2 restrants in Oregon, He talked with the sheriff about this mask thing. The Sheriff said he would not enforce the mask wearing but that the health dept has been ordered to enforce it as well as OSHA because of his employs. So 2 employs said they will quit before they will wear them. He is caught between a rock and a hard place. On top of that he can't get any workers because they are getting more on unemployment that working

What a world we have

Half the protesters didn't wear masks. With all the shouting they were doing and the close proximity, it's hard to believe the infected ones didn't infect many others mask or not.

Most of the protesters were younger people. Many eventually got into the bars and infected a lot of other people. Yet, some governors and the fake news media refuse to state the protesters had anything to do with the recent spike in cases. They pretty much give the protesters a free pass.

Not saying the spike was caused only by protesters. But, to minimize the effect the protests had on the increase in the number of cases is pretty ridiculous too.

What a world we have

I have brother who got laid off since March. He hopes he never gets called back to work. With unemployment comp and $600 a week, he's making more money than he did while working.

Saw on the news a couple days ago (FOX of course), 1.4 billion stimulus money was sent to deceased persons and the government can't figure out how to get it back. Based on this, I don't see how anyone could HONESTY FEEL mail in voting would be accurate either.

You are right, what a world we have.

Its a good place to be from anymore.

Its sad its so bad that my parents both in their late 70s born and raised in southern Or and lived up near McMinnville sold their house that was paid for and left the state. I only have 1 cousin left everybody else got out for good.

What are you gonna do, stand and fight? They are overwhelming us, and playing the angles against us. We have a stupid dem gov here in Ks too, and I never thought I'd see the stuff that has taken place, but there are enough that are getting fed up around here that things are gonna start happening soon, I believe. We as a caring people will have to expell the trash pretty soon!

Except for Bend over , the Eastern half of the state is still a good place for a conservative to hang his hat .

I like Burns .....but lack of work and Arctic temps in winter keep me from moving there

I like that idea -- after today i've adopted a new strategy -- mask in back pocket, when confronted appease them and put it on. rip it off asap and remember which businesses were the dumba--------- Buy the way did you get any good tags this year. I got my first choice elk --- but nothing else. Looks like I'm the only one in our group that got it. We need to figure out what to do about our lack of hunting opportunities. I don't really mind the " pay to play" theory, but I'm having a problem with the pay to not play.

I had to use a rag today for about 2 minutes while I ordered lunch at a Mexican restaurant. I then sat down at a table , took it off while I waited , ate , then left ......what a stupid game

We drew deer tags for Buelah. But I've never hunted there. Just wanted to try somewhere different . Nowhere in Oregon seems great anymore . Prolly go back to Ukiah for archery elk ......along with 5 thousand other people ... mad

Gun shop yesterday. Big sign. "KATE BROWN CAN KISS OUR (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman). MASKS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED HERE.” I really like my gun shop. They asked for no pictures, with me, that’s not a worry at all.

During all this, our esteemed ruler Brown, also pulled back staffing and budget to the instant background check at OSP. Instant is now approximately 7 - 9 days, instead of a few minutes to an hour, I was number 4127 out of 4129. Another end run to get what she wants.

Next year rumor is statewide draw tags for all units for archery. Not the gun guys, just us stick flickers. Figure that one out.

Here in WA Inslee decreed today that the responsibility for customers wearing mask is on the business. Fines for the business if seen doing business with an unmasked person. I wore my rag into the store today. Didnt want to stress the good business people.
You Oregon folks will prolly get the same decree Monday.

That was implemented when her 7 county edict came down from on high. Selectively enforced, in true Oregon fashion. “We Oregonians are going to continue to lead the way.”

At least one Trooper has been suspended.
