My only debate regarding lobsters is whether to go to Young's and eat them while looking over Penobscot Bay or whether to swing by Kirby's and cook them at home...

I’ve had ..off the boat ,5 pound lobsters. And they were just as tender...and yes the claws are the best. The tail meat is a big muscle that they use to swim with....so it’s a little tougher. Love a good 5 pound lobster. To me I get more flavor from the tail but claws will do........in a pinch

Yep , overated . Dungeness crab is much better IMO
Or shrimp Now you're talkin'.... Dungeness on lightly buttered sourdough , toasted to perfection with melted moz cheese , touch of horseradish and sweet pickle on the side. Shrimp and egg salad either as is or on bread is great too. Lobstah is ok but not my favourite .

I love lobster. its the cost that is overrated.
if I lived somewhere you could catch them, if eat it every day.
$32.99/lb? I don't think so scooter. And I thought $5 a pound was bad enough

Anyone ever have a McLobster sandwich? A few years back I saw them advertised, but couldn't bring myself to try one. To me it'd be like going to Texas or St. Louis and getting a McRib I was up in Maine one year and seen it on a billboard. Tried it just for the heck. Poor excuse for a Lobster roll. Not that good , served on a normal hot dog roll. Would not get it again , it was cheap and tasted cheap.

Never have had any king crab that I can remember. I am not sure what you guys that do not like lobsters have been getting but fresh caught lobsters are pretty darn good. Well, just about all seafood is good.
