[quote=Boco]Too many people are too stupid, ignorant, entitled, spoiled, to follow rules nowadays. -we call them progressives-
You teach children to follow rules in your home, businesses will tell you the rules to follow when you are using their services.
If you dont like the rules-go somewhere else or stay home.-we call that free market/capitalism-
Too many grown men act like spoiled children nowadays. -we call them protesters-
And swearing at a young kid who is following the rules set down by his workplace makes you double stupid/ignorant. Agreed

Good, glad I could be of assistance. If you, I and many other old people start telling it like it is, maybe in a couple of decades we will once again have young people who respect their elders. Or at least mind their own business.

I guess I missed the part where the young fella said "We've been asked by management to request that you wear a mask in the future. Thank you for your business. Have a nice day"

Actually, he said:

"if it isn't too much of a bother, would you mind wearing a mask the next time through?"

The mask thing is about compliance. Not health. Still plenty of homeless and incarcerated. They will die first in large numbers if it is going to happen.

Wonder why this didn't happen the last time we had a killer respiratory flu? Remember SARS?

People seem to be assuming masks are mandatory there. I don't know if PA has a statewide mandate or not, but I know McDonald's does NOT have a mask mandate as a corporation. So unless PA or the town has a mandatory mask mandate, that kid was the one being the prick.

PA has a mask mandate right now for anyone in public spaces.

Other than displaying your grammatical skills, what did that accomplish?

That was wrong. ....should have told him to go **** himself. In today's world, he quite possibly could accomplish that.

There is a reason that everyone is asked to wear a mask. For the uninformed it is to reduce the spreading of a virus called Covid19. Watch the news today we had 50,000 new cases. States are setting new records of new cases. Hospitals are running out of rooms to house victims of the coronavirus. If you don't think this is serious just talk to nurses and emergency hospital personnel. Florida alone had 10,000 new cases. Coronavirus is on the rise in 37 states.

Do you wear a seat belt? Do you wear a shirt and shoes into a restaurant? Do you do other things that you may not agree with but for the betterment of friends and family you do anyway?

All over the news they are showing how wearing a mask can help stop the droplets from your mouth getting in contact with other people. Our VP wore a mask at his last news conference. McConnell was urging everyone to wear a mask.

I do not believe I am living in fear but living responsibly and respectfully in that I don’t want to catch this virus nor do I want to pass it on to anyone.

I sincerely hope that those that choose to not protect themselves or others by wearing a mask at least have the courtesy to stay home and not visit their parents or elderly relatives.

POP quiz, you are driving thru Chicago or Minniapolis and you take a wrong turn, you realize you are in a bad neighborhood. Are you A) gonna put on a mask, or B) check the chamber on your pistol? one is illegal, one is mandatory, one will get you laughed at, one will get you home. Those same people that tell you masks are goood for you , most likely passed bills restricting firearms.

No. Yes, but I wear a shirt and shoes at home as well. Can't think of any example of being against something but yet it being in the best interest of my family.

If my parents or husband were concerned about it, and wished to remain isolated, I would respect their wishes. However, they all go out all the time and none of them wear masks, so I see no reason not to visit them.
