....I do have one question though... what in the jumped up (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) is a London broil? ... looks like a sirloin cut to me It's a flank steak near as I can tell. I can't believe how thick it was. That same flank on a deer is maybe a 1/4" thick. And yeah, she likes jerky, tries turning her steaks into it.
Eh...wot?

Although we are one of those states that flipped on the Democrates last time a president was elected. Hillary may have changed all the meat cut names and told our "great" governor not to tell us in retaliation! These days any thing is possible! Just saying! lol

No way was that a flank steak. I guessing you're right, sirloin or possibly top round.

I googled London broil and this came up.......
What Is London Broil?
Originally London broil was made with flank steak, but over the years, the name has been applied to many other lean, thick cuts of beef, such as top round. Generally, you will find London broil being marketed as anything from a 1-inch steak to a 4-inch roast that comes from the sirloin or round sections of beef. These cuts all have something in common: They are lean and tend to be tougher.
Although the label may not direct the consumer how to cook the piece of meat, a London broil is meant to be marinated and cooked over high heat. It's a great way to get a really good meal out of a less expensive cut of meat.

Yeah, at $4.00-something a pound it wasn't a melt-in-your-mouth-tender cut but she did a good job with it. Besides, I still have most of my own teeth so I don't mind a little chewing.

I like to grill London Broil, let it cool and slice it really thin. Then put it in brown gravy and serve it hot over bread open face style. Add some mashed taters and your favorite green vege and it is a great meal.

Tonight it's Venison Kabobs off the stick. With a bottle of wine. And some oven baked Kohlrabi. Can you call them Kabobs without the stick? SticklessBobs??
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Grilled chicken, Lipton cup of soup potatoes, lima beans and garden salad.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.
