To you garden guys out there.I planted carrots this year and deer ate the tops off.Will they come back and still produce crop underground?

without any tops they will not continue to grow , if the tops come back they may be ok

Carrots are a Biennial they put down roots in year one then overwinter in the ground or in storage and put out tops that produce seed the 2nd year

the carrots we eat are first year roots
