They parked 3 vans across the highway to block it. National Guard showed up and pushed them back, brought in rollback trucks and hauled them off. There were a lot of protesters on foot blocking the highway but the TV crew filming it quit and went on up to Mt Rushmore when the road was opened. I doubt the protesters put up much of a fight with the Natl Guard. They tried fighting the Guard at first but were quickly overwhelmed. I think 5 were arrested overall. All whites I do believe. The reporters said some were clearly there just to make trouble, not protest. Some were Natives, but I did see a BLM sign.

They arrested some at the end that around 12 Mostly warriors then, it was all kind of pointless as Trump flew in by chopper and most ticket winners had been up there for hours they said.

Someone yesterday made the comment that among other things Trump was "standing on ground stolen from the Native Americans"

I got news for everybody, if your feet are touching the ground on the North American continent your are doing the same

i liked his speech and not a big fan. I don't know who wrote it for him but I think he meant it.

Europeans did not invent "land stealing" either. For example Indians were constantly "stealing land" from each other long before Europeans ever got here.

Watched a feed from the other side of the line one native was wanting to negotiate , keep wanting to set down a talk to the gov. wanting there land back. dont think it happened.

Their mistake was blocking the road the way they did, they would of gotten more mileage out of protesting from the side of the road if they would of done that it would of been a win for them. If you act like BLM you will get lumped in with them pretty quickly then.

All this talk about white privilege but my kids were not allowed to attend Haskell university, not even if they paid for it. Let alone for free. My kids don't get a check every month, free housing, free groceries, and free health care from the British royal family even though they are descended from from Irish slaves.

I am sick of people to lazy to do for their selves, whining and bawling cause somebody else has more money than them.
